INQUIRY – HARRYBURN 16 WIND TURBINE WIND FARM PROPOSAL
The VC attended and contributed to the above Inquiry, supporting the Leadhills community in their objection to the proposal.
A strong objection to the proposal was made by South Lanarkshire Council and Scottish Natural Heritage. In brief: Wrong location, accumulation of turbines, distinctive Scottish landscape of the Lowther Hills and Southern uplands, the setting and uniqueness of our two villages. And impact on the communities.
